I collaborated with the founder, a UI/UX designer, and a product manager to develop Surge, a platform that enhances remote team collaboration through virtual cabins. I led the design across Desktop, Web, and Mobile and actively oversaw development while driving the innovation of new features.
Conducted competitor research to analyse and design features for MVP roadmap
Designed platform assets from zero to one, adopting a lean agile approach to iterate quickly and effectively.
Design lead for releasing Surge MVP; as well as AI agent features for subsequent releases. The latter was a collaboration with the Head of product and Lead Product Manager

Recognizing these oppurtunities, we aimed to improve this feature and ask:
How might we reinvent remote virtual collaboration, to decrease meeting fatigue and simulate natural communication?
Obstacles faced through the project
Project ambiguity
We did not have an established product, funding or backing yet as this was an idea that was being executed completely from scratch. Prioritising modules based on launch date and team member bandwidth was a challenge although this was often solved through internal user interviews and tests and asking them what is most crucial
